Privacy Policy_
1. General Information
Data Protection Overview
The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you.
Important Distinction: This website operates entirely without cookies, marketing analytics, or tracking technologies. However, this does not mean no data is processed. Technical data processing still occurs automatically via server log files when you visit the site, and data is processed when you proactively contact us via e-mail.
2. Controller
Name and Address of the Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website under the GDPR is:
Paul Gesekus
(trading as: nostream digital solutions)
August-Wolff-Straße 17
65203 Wiesbaden
Germany
E-Mail: contact@nostream.de
3. Hosting & Server Log Files
Our website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany ("Strato").
When you access our website, Strato automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to the server. These are:
- IP address
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Time of the server request
This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of their website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.
Recipients of the data: The recipient of this data is our hosting provider Strato, who processes this data on our behalf. We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Strato in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
Storage duration: IP addresses are stored anonymously by Strato for a maximum of 7 days to detect and ward off attacks. After that, they are deleted unless legal retention obligations require longer.
Obligation to provide data: The provision of the aforementioned personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, without processing the IP address and technical log data, the service and functionality of our website cannot be guaranteed, and the website cannot be displayed in your browser.
4. SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
5. Contacting Us by E-Mail
If you contact us by e-mail, your inquiry including all resulting personal data (e.g., name, e-mail address, content of your request) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, if your request is related to the execution of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
Recipients of the data: Your data is received directly by us. Depending on our technical infrastructure, our e-mail hosting provider may act as a processor to facilitate the receipt and storage of your e-mails.
Storage duration criteria: The data you send to us via e-mail will remain with us until the purpose for the data storage lapses (e.g., after your request has been conclusively processed and resolved), you request its deletion, or you revoke your consent to the storage. Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular commercial and tax retention periods - remain unaffected.
Obligation to provide data: The provision of your personal data when contacting us is voluntary. However, we need at least your e-mail address and the context of your inquiry to be able to process and respond to your request. Failure to provide this information means we will be unable to answer you.
6. Your Rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), or restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20)
- Right to object (Art. 21) and the right to withdraw consent (Art. 7 Para. 3)
Please contact us at contact@nostream.de to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is: Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
